Do the 2 tranny case studs have to be removed to mount the bracket? (To use the supplied bolts in the kit)

I just received this pipe and the directions say to use the kit bolts only but there's not a word in there about removing the 2 (factory) studs.

Am I missing something?

 

Only thing missing is two holes for the kit bolts, which you will have after removing the tranny bolts! You are going to love that pipe!

 

Cool, that's what I thought. You'd think they woulda' included that lil' detail in the installation instructions.

not sure about how yor factory exhaust brackets mounts on a fat bob but on my fxdc you have to remove those bolts to take the factory exhaust bracket off to begin with so its kind of self explanitory, maybee you got different instructions that me too cuz mine showed removing those bolts and using the suplied bolts. anyways your gunna love that exhaust, i just got the open end cap and running 6 disks(equivalent to 16disks w/closed end cap) and it runs and sounds bad a$$!
