Default 2006 FXDWGI Crank issues.

Ok So i was riding, and lost oil pressure.. found out the oil pump was shattered, crank runout was unacceptable.

Got a good used crank, that was supposed to be the correct one. I have a TC88, and this crank is for a tc96.

Can i use this crank, (i dont think i can) however, its already installed, and found out last night that the pistons were hitting the heads.

What would I need to do, CHEAPEST WAY to make this work with this crank?

Well, since it seems like this is a "What harley tells me" forum, does ANYONE know where there is a forum that has ACTUAL wrench turners instead of actual koolaid drinkers?

Btw, casket (yes I am talking to myself) What you would need to do, since the bore is the same as the 96, and it seems like a 96" crank, swap the pistons out, reflash the ecu, and go ride. It is now a 96" stroker motor, instead of a big bore motor.

Thanks Casket for the advice...

That part wont work.. 23955-06 and 23955-06B are apparently the only part numbers harley lists for this bike..

The wrist pin height on the skirt of the pistons is a different height on the 88 vs 96 motors. So with that crank, get on eBay or post WTB add here for someone with factory 96 pistons. Throw those in and you will be good assuming you didn't bend any valves already.

I'm guessing a 96 stage one sense your motor will be a 96.
