I find that hard to believe. Just look at 90% of the dyna pictures and u will see either short shots or big radius. If there was such an issue there would be a million complaint posts. It's pretty much a straight pipe anyway, what part of it would be a cause for a problem?

Total BS! I ran those pipes for about a year and the only issue I had was decel popping and with a good tuner that problem would have been resolved.
I switched to Bassani RR II when I installed the cams and SEPRT. Simple point 2:1 develop more power but those V&H short shots sound great!

I haven't heard of it either. I have only had mine installed for about a month so can't speak for longevity but they sound good, other than quieter that I'd like. Look into getting a set of Big City Thunder monster baffles before you install them... wish I did. I plan on getting a set and now with have to uninstall everything to install the BCT baffles.

Tell your buds to expand on how & why your bike would turn to crap after running these pipes. Speaking of crap...they're full of it.
Installed a set on my 05 XL1200C, ran for three seasons with absolutely "0" problems/issues. Pipes looked like new when I sold the bike and many riders asked where I got them. You're good!
