Is there a way I can find the part number for the 99 dyna fuel tank vent fitting on my 99 Dyna Convertible? Mine will build up a lot of pressure in the tank then start pouring gas out of the carb and I think there was a recall on it. If I loosen up the gas cap the pressure coming out of it sounds like you cut a tire then the bike runs ok after that.

Sounds like you need a new gas cap,they are vented caps and now it may be blocked not allowing air to enter tank as fuel level drops. Gas out of carb is also a sign of a float needle that is dirty or worn

 

Thanks for the advice, I ordered a new vapor valve since they did have a problem with those causing gas to be forced out of the carb and a new gas cap just to be safe.
