Default 12 wg high speed control issues

i have a 12 WG with just about 700 miles on it. this is the first bike ive had with a mid glide front end or a 21 inch front rim. the problem im facing is between 90-110 mph i just don't feel like i have enough control and a little wobbling. Is this normal? if so what can i do to fix it. thought about a fork brace and also going to a smaller mag rim (FLD switchback stock rims possible).
any thoughts suggestions?
thank you.

Not being a smart a** about this, but I really dont think these bikes are designed to maintain those types of speed. 80 is fast enough for me on mine, and its still quite a bit of work to keep it straight in the lane. Not sure if a fork brace would help or not?

Patient: Doctor it hurts when I do this.
Doctor: Then don't do that.

Check your tire pressure. Steering head bearing could be too tight or too loose. Front wheel might not be balanced correctly.

A fork brace can't hurt but no guarantee it'll solve your problem. It could be the skinny 21" tire, but I'm not sure.

You have a wide glide front end...That's why your bike is called a Wideglide. As far as your question, I run my up to 90 or so on the interstate sometimes. It is stable as can be. I would bet you need to adjust your steering head or tire pressure. Steering head probably though. I would also slow down. These bikes aren't designed to be road racers. Keep in mind, they stop like crap...

His bike is 1 year old and has 700 miles on it. It is a warranty issue.

OP, take your bike in and tell them you have a wobble at highway speeds. Do not tell them what speed it wobbles as they will tell you they are not allowed to recreate your issue while exceeding the speed limit.

Be persistent and ask them to check the front end. I am sure they will give it a once over.

FYI though, you are running a WG at high speed. It doesn't have the rigid wheelbase a sport bike has. At those speeds it could be pavement, a crosswind, you gripping the bars too tight, etc. any number of things could be contributing to what you are feeling.

I don't want to be a smart *** either, but are you sure you have the right kind of motorcycle?

Mine wobbles a bit a higher speeds....just figured it was normal to be honest....110 mph with the 21 in front rim seems like it would be very wobbly or unstable....i agree with wg fever i dont think that bike is designed to maintain 100 mph

A Wide Glide is a 'Cruiser'. Those speeds ain't cruising, they are flying low. For me the fun factor starts to decrease about 70 mph and goes down from there. At 80 or 85 it really ain't much fun at all. At 100 mph it is a job to continue to feel like I am in control.

Seems like everybody I ride with think that "you ride em like you stole em". So occasionally, you have to haul **** just to keep up. I've never experienced any control issues even on the terrible roads around here. Well except for the darn thing just wants to go straight as an arrow above 80 MPH.
