Default phone mounts

Ok so I searched the forums for phone mounts. Always heard great things about RAM mounts but the new X-grip I've never seen. I was thinking it turned straight up and down and the ol' iPhone 5 may fall straight down with the sweet vibrations. Anyone else have phone mounts on there mini apes/apes that are at times exposed to wind and at a up and down angle?!?!?

I have the X-Grip and use it w/Iphone & GPS. You can turn it horizontal or vertical to fit whatever device you place in it. Never had an issue with mine. Guess you could use some rubber bands as a safety net.

Phone Mounts normally go next to the Cigar lighter and coffee cup holder!

Are you riding or working in a call centre?

^ that's a retarded answer. Not everyone poses at the coffee shop. Those of us that actually ride more for more than an hour appreciate having things like GPS and access to the weather.

Your phone is not falling out of an X-grip. I have one and love it. I know guys that use those for trail riding with no problems.

Another happy X-Grip user here. The vibes at low RPMs make it hard (impossible) to see, but I have never had a concern with it falling out.

Yep -- Ram mount X-Grip works great. It's snug and the thing doesn't move unless you do it yourself.
