Default What Pipes?

Im looking for a low, deep rumble for my 04 Super glide. I put original short shots on but not really digging the tone....

Not sure, but based on youtube video's, have you considered Big Radius? The larger diameter pipes seem to give a lower more bass tone.

Have you considered trying different baffles first? Big city thunder makes baffles that sound awesome. My buddy has a set on his duece and it sounds great.

I have the short shots and just added the original Big City Thunder monster baffles...wish I did it when I installed the pipes. Sound deeper, louder and has that raw drag pipe sound on decel and off throttle when you get on it. When you don't get on it hard you have just a deeper tone. And got my torque back. You can actually really feel the difference. Worth every penny!

I added DK's Thunder Torque Insert to my V&H Big Radius, which already had a nice low growl, and the tone got more "rumblier."

If you don't like the sound of your new pipes, you can give the Thunder Torques a try. For $30-something, they're worth the price.
