Default Another dyno tune question

So I am 800 miles into my 95" build and curious if a dyno tune is needed.

The bike runs great no complaints just don't know if there is any unforeseen potential that I am missing out on by not having the bike tuned?

The builder used my SERT to narrow down my set up.

Build includes:

2004 FXDXI
SE high performance heads p/n 16952-99
SE flat top pistons
Compression releases
Andrews 37G cams
Cylinders bored to 95"
SE intake
Thunder header

I was thinking of having Bob at RC cycles in Hayward run the tune.

So question is:

Will the tune just give me hp/tq numbers or will I notice a seat of the pants difference from having it tuned?

Thanks for the input!

Kinda in the same boat. I am only 250 into my build with pcv. Mine seems to be running real well so i am not concerned with. Retune yet. im going to wait until i get a couple grand on the clock before i consider it.

With that kind of build I would. Most important is really knowing who's tuning it. If the operator knows what he's doing you should notice a difference in both but most important in just the smoothness of going through the gears.

I have heard a few people recommend this guy at RC Cycles so that is the way I am leaning.

I imagine the tune might take out a few flat spots that I may not know exist?

personally I would dyno, get the most bang for your buck and ensure the bike is running on point as well
