SE203s,or Andrews 26 would be a good choice for your bike. If changing to 95", if you have your carb set up right now, you might not have to change it.

Nothing has ever been done to this bike and it only has 7000 miles on it.I am used to EFI with mastertune but nothing about carb motors except they sound good when done right

I am also interested in what cams people have installed in 88's. I would like to know what SE parts people have had success with. I had a dude recommend 211's. I have also been told that 253's are good. My goal would be the best cam to work with a 95 kit that has the most pull through the 3000-4500 RPM range.

You have a carbed twinkie. With the choke pushed all the way in, it will make a great potato sound as is.

Leave it alone. Don't open the engine unless you have a good reason.
Your bike will sound better than 9 out of 10 bikes out there.

And no matter what you think now. No one is gong to walk up and tell you how well it sounds idling. Sorry, just isn't going to happen.

You have a pristine, unmolested 01 wwith 7000 miles. I would leave it that way.
Look around and show me a 10 year old unmolested Harley.

...and in the other ear a little devil says.....203 cams and a 95 kit will make you very happy....even a set of 203's on their own will give you wood every time you ride....go on, do it!!

Agreed. Only have stage one stuff on mine with SE slip ons which are gutted and baffles punched. Sounds great.

Mine also is an 01
