Default waterproof saddlebags that dont require turn signal mods.

Has anyone used bags that fit on a street Bob that don't require turn signal mods?

Unless its throw over bags they have to mount somewhere and there are only 2 mounting points on each strut. The turn signal location is one of them. Waterproof usually means hard bags

Well, you can buy some waterproof liners/bags and then use any saddlebags that you want. That's what I did, works well enough.

Check out Foxcreekleather. I got throw over for my Super Glide Custom in leather, sprayed them with WD-40 and have had 2 rainy rides with no problems. Just look for your bikes size.
I also think they sell side brackets that are held up by one screw, but they are aftermarket

None of the leather bags are waterproof so does leather jacket. You can always get rain covers for saddlebags. Check with Leather pro, I believe they have new saddlebags that you don't have to relocate rear turn signals.

I go the first set. Well made, look good, easily detachable, holds enough and like I said above, if you buy some of those cheap Army waterproof bags, they're "waterproof". And I didn't have to relocate my signals.

What you have to understand is that unless you have a Fat Bob or Wide Glide, your rear turn signals utilize one of the two mounts that your saddlebags would mount to.

The fxdf/dwg have their turn signals placed farther back on the strut so they don't interfere with hard-mounted bags.
