Default 07 Wide Glide help!

Ok i have a 2007 Dyna Wide with about 52k miles now and i havent done anything but keep the oil changed in all holes at the same time and a few upgraded mods on the outside nothing engine wise.

So my question is, is there anything i should inspect? or take a look at or look forward to going bad anytime soon?

Im pretty sure 07 and up models all have the hyd tensioner and i hear that setup can last for a while

anything else?

thanks for all your help!

Yeah, check your cam chain followers for wear. 52K is overdue for a look at them. I just turned over 40K on my '06 and I need to inspect mine, too.

Yes, they are spring loaded. If I remember they are made out of a phenolic type of material. At 50k+ miles, I'd definitely open it up and give a good look see.

If it were me, I'd look to do a cam upgrade at the same time since you're gonna have it open anyway.

The chain tensioners are past due for inspection.
If I remember correctly they are to be checked at 30,000 and 50,000

Fork oil for sure. You'll notice the difference in the ride.

Pretty sure my '06 has the hyd. tensioned ones, too. EZ enough to see the outer one by pulling the cover; could be indicative of the inner one's condition, but no guarantee.
+1 on the fork oil; when I installed chrome lowers at ~10K, I was shocked by how filthy the fork oil was.
