Default V&H Short shots Not loud enough?!

I've got V&H short shots on, haven't changed air filter yet, I'm looking for one right now....But I need more volume! I'm running stock baffles that came with them. Any ideas?

Ive been told that they will open up a little after air is installed, I hope so. Some have told me to cut the baffles or drill more holes in them.

I want them to scream!

I've been thinking about taking the baffles out completely. I live in ga. Shouldn't be much problem here.

I think maybe you need to go have your hearing checked first.

But if you still need it louder you can take the fibreglass wraps off the baffles, that should be about right.

Take the baffles out, may lose a little Torque on the low end but she will scream and back pop!

Will simply drilling holes in the baffle make them louder? Is there a right or wrong way to drill, or just start putting random holes?

I had shortshots on my 1200c with baffles removed and a stage1 done and they were loud,if you want loud pipes I'd go that route.
