Default Street Bob 2012 to 2013 Fender Swap

I am swapping my 2012 Street Bob fender with the ugly tail light to the 2013 without. I obviously have to relocate my license plate and was looking at this plate and light from NoSchoolChoppers.com.

http://shop.noschoolchoppers.com/33-style-tail-lights/

Main question(s) is... How hard is it to swap a fender? Been reading up on it, I am very mechanically inclinded, have a jack and all that but dont want to risk messing something up.
And... Will the wires for the rear light run to the left size without an issue? What size plate do I need for my axle..?

Just could use a little advice before I start ordering and attempt the swap in a couple weeks.

The swap itself is very easy. Four bolts. No jack needed. An extra hand is helpful to keep from scratching the new fender. From you're main harness under the seat, you should have 3 wires going to the rear, two blinkers and the run/brake light(I think that's right). Your limp dick wire should plug in to the new light you're wanting to run. If yours isn't wired that way, I may still have my old wiring harness.

Why not get a run/stop/turn module and eliminate the brake light all together?

I like the look of the light plate combo, plus having an additional tail light could never hurt. I live in a college town where no one ever seems to pay attention.

Plus... I want to put this lens on it.

I am doing the same thing on my 2012 Street Bob this weekend but I am having a local shop fill and paint the fender for $325. I bought the side mount bracket from the 13 and using the existing run/brake lights.
