Default Looking To Ditch Brake Light?

Hey guys I want to put a bobbed rear fender on my 04 fxd. Use the turn signals for the brake lights kinda the same setup on the newer Wide Glides. What do I need to do this?

rocket bob's makes a kit, or you could just chop the fender right above the light or take off the light and fill in with sheet metal and paint

I guess the main question is how do I wire it? The tail lights im goin to use are the 3 wire with purple, blue, black. I know they make modules, but can i just wire this in to the oem harness?
