Default Just bought a bob.. time to mod.

Just picked up a 2007 Street Bob with 10k miles for 8k. My whole goal is to murder it in flat black.. I love the look of a blacked out bob.

My question for the time being is this..

I am going to throw a 200 tire on the back and remove the rear fender. What would be a good looking seat for a bob that has no rear fender? I love the look of rocket bobs pintail seat but I cannot justify spending almost 1k on a seat.. is there anything else out there that anyone can suggest?

Thanks!

Going with a chopper style seat pan and figuring out a way to mount it up. Read Tail Leather builds seats that have a high back that look great. If you check their seat gallery they have some mounted on Dynas.

Went with a forties style pan seat works well due to the width of the tire

Removed the spring o lower the seat - looks better but makes it a harder ride

Seat about £70 on EBay

Cool

I love the look of the Bobber Street Bob but I need a backseat on my bike so if you have the rear peg mounts that you won't
need due to not having a fender to put a seat on then I would definitely be interested in buying them.

Be sure to post pics of your bike when you get the chance.

I'd be interested in those peg mounts too.
