Default Need opinions...

Hi Guys!

My name is Woodsy and I am new to the Forum although not new to bikes. . I have have a few questions...

I ahve an 06 Dyna Wide Glide with a TC-88 motor. Long story short I am tired of having my *ss handed to me by some of my friends. Will a 103 "A" motor bolt in? There seem to be a few of them around at reasonable prices...

Thanks!

Woodsy

Do you have just a stock motor? Stage one? Maybe change the cams? Would all add power and be cheaper I would think.

Will not bolt right in, but do a solid 95-98" build with your motor and the tables will turn, you will be roasting any stock 103"

+1 awesome advice! i smoke even 107 builds all the time! it is important that you design your motor build around how you ride as well... i did not chase HP numbers i wanted TQ and that light to light power without losing touring abilities. so i also played with my bike gearing

As far as I know its a relatively stock EFI 88.... power commander & pipes. I will be getting a new air cleaner prob a Harley heavy breather style.

Is there a good 88 to 95" kit? what about heads? Screamin Eagle or other?

Sorry for the questions...

Dude! Don't be sorry for the questions... That's what this place is all about! Learning from others and making educated moves. Good luck with your build. I'm sure you'll be getting some respect from your buds in a short while.

A Boss Hoss or a Jay Leno jet powered bike would give you a better chance to win drag races. Oh, and then there is top fuel engines!

Why won't a 103 bolt in? Aren't they the same externally?
