Hello all!

I have searched the interwebs high and low and have not really found what I am looking for. I purchased the HD Genuine Axle Nut covers from the dealership last week and I was not at all impressed with the quality of them.
#1) The black did not match the forks at all almost had a very dark grey look.
#2) The covers did not really "seat" onto the axle tip or the lock nut. Poked out too much. (Universal fit )

I would love to find a nice streamlined axle nut cover kit in chrome or black. Any suggestions? Much appreciated!

I have the same axle nut covers on my 13 SB and they match perfect. They're not really "flush" but they match.

 

Do you have the part number for the ones you are using? I'd love to see them on your bike. Maybe I just got a bad run?

I actually took these back to the HD parts counter yesterday and they gave me a refund no questions asked. I held it against another bike in the showroom just to make sure it wasn't just my bike. It wasnt.

Still looking for an alternative "stubby" cover.
