Default Still weeping. Wtf. Pics inside.

So had the 07 st bob in to the dealer to replace the base gaskets. So I noticed they still seemed to be weeping. Took it back they tested and told me its due to assemble lube. They dyed the oil and black light tested and its not glowing. Must be assemble lube . Right ??? Well 150 miles and a few clean ups later this is what I got. Opinions welcome.

If its not glowing, you would think that its not engine oil. Maybe you should ask them how long you should expect this to happen.

very easy to find out for yourself first. stop by any auto shop and ask them to check it for you...hell give em $20. Now you will have an unbiased opinion if it's glowing er not.

Did you see them put die in the bike???? while at auto shop for unbiased check pull dip stick and see if she glows.

"... Took it back they tested and told me its due to assemble lube."

Hmm...after 150 miles any asm'bly lube used in putting the motor back together has most likely dissolved and has been absorbed by the motor oil itself. I'd hazard a guess and say the 'weeping' you see now is 1% asm'bly lube and 99% motor oil. Time to take it back to the shop and ask more questions... hope they take care of you.

Looks a mighty lot like oil, but as said go to a garage and get that unbiased opinion, you will also know if your dealer was shittin you!
