It runs back to the light plug(the chrome plastic piece that the super glide tail light screws to) on the super glide tail light. If you are using strut mounted blinkers, they also plug into the tail light plug. I'm sure thats clear as mud. I'll see if I can get some pics.

please post some when u get the chance

Snapped a couple pics on my way out. I'll try to get some better ones. Locate this wire under your seat. See the three wires that come off with connectors on the end-those run back to your blinkers and license plate light. The big connector plugs into the main harness. Unplug the big one and plug in the new super glide harness. It can only go one way.

Run the super glide harness through the new fender to the tail light connector, the piece I'm pointing at below.

Plug the other end of the super glide harness into this piece. I used the panacea tail light so I didn't put any blinkers back on. However, if you are going to use blinkers, they also plug into this tail light socket.

Resurrecting an old thread!

I'd like to do the same swap. Any ideas on where to get a full rear fender? I have a Charcoal 2014 Street Bob.

I got mine off of ebay and then bought the wiring harness from the dealer, and an aftermarket tail lamp. I would keep checking back on ebay often. You will probably have to have it color matched.

I saw a vivid black one on ebay the other day that was in good shape. It sold for $350. You can buy a vivid black one (59634-06DH) new from new castle for about $400. Price will vary for the different colors. I don't know what the code for charcoal pearl is.

I'll definitely keep an eye on Ebay.

I hadn't thought about checking the dealership to see if they can get one factory painted in Charcoal. I thought only the 2014 Street Bob and Street Glides came in that color, but it's worth a shot to check it out.

I think the full rear fender is a better option for me since I am putting on Conley bags. I don't like the turn signal and license relo kits that are out there. The Great Bike Gear kit has too much structure that hangs beyond the stock fender and the Harley kit...not a big fan.

I have a used 06 Super glide vivid black fender, would be interested in trading for Bob one, or selling it, no taillight. Normal wear, is hanging inside my garage

I'd be interested in buying it. After I get everything together and switch it out I won't have a use for the bobbed one. Its denim black though. From reading the forum is sounds like it should mount right up no problem.

Can you post a picture of it for me.
Thanks

I went with a switchback fender. I welded up the brake like hole and used a street bob tail light.
