Default Leatherneck Jim? Other suggestions?

Anyone done business with Leatherneck Jim's recently? I'm looking for some middle of the road bags for use when I need more storage than my Bikers Friend provides. I like the Leather Pros but have trouble justifying $700 for bags that will only be used a few weeks out of the year at most. At the same time I'd like something a bit better than River Road. Someone suggested Leatherneck, but I'm having trouble finding recent reviews and the site looks like it hasn't been updated in a while. I'll be using the Easy Bracket relocation kit for my tail lights. I'm not really considering any of the Harley bags as I haven't been impressed with the quality to price ratio on the examples I've seen.

I got my LeatherPros for $550 from New Castle HD. In my opinion the best leather bags out there.

I bought the bags for my Yamaha from them and they were really nice bags and great to deal with. That was a few years back. I'm local and they even let me pick them up to save shipping.
