Default Switchback bags on FXD?

So I've been looking around and I'm having a hard time finding the answer. Is it possible to put Switchback bags on a 07 FXD. I was checking one out at the dealership a few weeks ago, but it was inside and my bike was outside so I couldn't do a side by side comparison. Want hard bags for my bike, but hate the rounded Harley ones. So, anyone know?

From what I know, you would need all the hardware and the full fender, because the bags also mount to the lower rear side section for support,

+1, if the spacing is right up top then making a mount for the bottom probably wouldnt be that hard

This is correct. We were at the dealership today comparing an '08 FXD next to a Switchback and it could work. A couple of differences is the rear rails on an FXD vs the FLD. I think if you could get measurements on the FLD's rails (upper bag mountings) vs the holes on the FXD that would be the biggest concern. If they are the same you've overcome the biggest obstacle to a simple job. If not you will have to get creative. You would have to relocate the side markers of course. You could make the lower bag mounting brackets.

But, as has already been said, where there is a will there is a way.
