hard bags for my fat bob?

Having tried the Calvary Fiberglass bags first I ended up with the Cyclevisions Hard bags for the Street Bob. The bags are pricey but well engineered. I bought ABS lids on Ebay for $90. I also bought latches on line. The problem you will have for the Fat Bob is the frames require a rear support bracket. I fabricated a Street Glide fender to the front section of the Fat Bob fender and fabricated a cross brace to work with it.
The Calvary Fiberglass bags are nice but the mounts basically suck and they will sit far back in order to clear the shocks.
The Cyclevisions bags have a relief to clear the shocks and fit well.
If you intend to retain the Fat Bob fender then I would go with the Cyclevisions bags and adapt them to the Edge frames.

I had Leather Pros on my Fat Bob. They are not technically "hard bags", they are leather covered ABS plastic. They are quick detach, about 10 seconds to take off/on. When they are off, you can hardly notice the mounting hardware.
