I've been looking at the DK Custom Canyon Carver pegs today and I'm wondering how they compare with regular (stock, rubber) pegs as far as width and comfort goes...

They say that they're shorter but it looks like they have a long stem. do they stick out as far? is there much less space for your feet (on the inside, towards the mount) or is it only like 1/2 inch or so... i'll take a look where my feet are on the pegs when I go out tonight, I probably dont need much more than a shoe-width). I'm likely over thinking this, it's been a long day!

The big question really is one pair or two... screw the passenger, they're both for me (mid-mounts and highway pegs)

 

I have the bear traps and I love them. I also have forward controls. IMHO I would just buy 1 pair and try them out. If you like them buy another pair. : ) DK ships them pretty quick.

 

So the stock pegs are 4" from bracket to tip and it looks like I ride with my feet almost covering the hinge... I'd be interested to know how long that post is...

 

I have them. There hella comfy. If you don't adjust the screw they will scrape like all pegs do.
