I gotta be honest bro, I don't care for it. Looks hacked, but it's your bike. It may look better if you cut more off the bottom to smooth out that line. See attached crappy photo as an illustration. Good luck!

If youre going to cut the struts you might as well go all the way to the upper shock mounts. It just looks better. Im still too scared to do it myself. But when my nuts finally do drop, Im going with the Rocket Bob Voodoo fender. That thing looks badass.

Interesting. Not my thing, but I think you have the potential to bring it around to look really badass. Just make a good plan before you chop any further.

Not a fan of the chopped stock fenders. They seem to leave a huge gap between the fender and tire. And if you are running struts, I would put the fender attached to the swing arm. I just think it should hug the tire more.

Just my $.02. Your bike. If you like it, that is all that matters.

I don't think its working too well aesthetically right now. Maybe if you cut it at an angle similar to what rock 103 suggested, it may look better. I think the rocket bob kit is probably the best option. Those kits look so bad *** and are well worth the cash IMO.

It looks like someone took a hacksaw and just cut strain across and down. I think if you give it some definition and round it a bit it will look way better. It's your bike though not mine. If you like the look keep it, thats just my .02.
