"Slammer" Kits Question
http://www.burlybrand.com/slammerblack/index.aspx
I've read mixed reviews on these as it seems going from the stock, I think what? 13 inch down to a 10.5 is a bit too much.
I am guessing that an 11 to 12 would be the best compromise of filling that gap between the tire and fender while still providing a good ride and travel?
Any real world info on this? Maybe go with something from Progrsssive instead?

There are quite a few threads with "real world" experience on this subject. And Burly's are Progressive shocks rebranded. I for one really like my Burly's and haven't had any overbearing issues. Just need to go a bit slower over speed bumps and rough driveway entrances. And can't lean like a sport bike, but hey, its not meant to in stock configuration either. I scraped more with stock shocks and stock exhaust than I do now...

I ran Burly's for a while. Loved the look but on longer rides or rough roads, they can beat you up a little. And two up riding pretty much sucked. I also ground the **** out out of my pegs. But your experience is going to depend on your weight, how often you ride 2 up, the roads you travel, and how aggressive you ride. Around town and bar hopping they are great. Long trips and freeway expansion joint are going to make you wish you bought something else. I recently swapped them for some Progressive 440s. They are 11.5 long and the ride is WAY better.
