Looking to powder coat the lower forks on my dyna. I have a pc set up, just wondering how to disassemble them and what seals and stuff I have to remove just so I don't miss anything. Thanks!

 

Get a manual if you dont already have one, it explains how to disassemble in there. The whole thing needs to come apart.

 

X2 on manual and entire disassembly is required. had mine done a bout 4 yrs ago. still look great. just make sure you clean them inside VERY good after pwd coat and before reassembly.

 

If you search you tube there is a few videos of the process. I'm getting ready to do the same thing. Unfortunately for me I had to order some tools I didn't have. They are supposed to be here next week.
