Default Front Forks Upgrade for '07 wide glide

Having recently crashed my 2007 Wide Glide, I'm needing to replace the front end. Was going to go with the stock HD forks, only in chrome with PM 6 caliper brakes. Would you put on different forks/triple tree?

Thats totally up to you...but I would suggest upgrading your suspension since you got everything apart. At least put the ricor intimidators in

Default ricor intimidators

Great idea. So these ricor intimidators just fit on top of the regular "shock" assembly? Stiffer ride? I like the FXDWG ride pretty well - smooth and predictable. I mostly ride twisties in the hills, aggressively.

Got the info from the web site: http://store.ricorshocks.com/FAQ_s/41.htm

How INTIMINATORs Work

INTIMINATORs sits on top of your stock damper rod forcing the oil through high-quality deflected discs found in top of the line shock absorbers. When the front tire hits a bump then the inertia of that bump opens the inertia valve instantly allowing for a faster response. Installation is easy. Drain the fork
oil, remove the spring, drop in the Intiminator, add oil then the spring and away you go.

FYI

Not a stiffer ride but makes the front end feel solid
