I currently own a 09' FXD superglide. I don't personally like that my speedometer is located on my handlebars and since i am about to replace my tank because of damage, I am trying to find out what all it would entail to put an FXDWG style tank onto my FXD superglide. Is it as easy as swapping out the tanks, purchasing a new console to fit the FXDWG style tank, purchasing a new speedometer and rerouting the ignition from the frame to the tank? Will the fuel pump match up for the swap or is a new one required? Thank you for any insight you may have.
