Looking to install a set of ape hangers on my 09 fatbob. havent seen pic i like apes are to wide. does anyone have pics of their fatbob with apes also i was thinking about going with mid apes since the center width is 8.5.

So to clarify, your looking for narrow base apes? I'm running 14" wild1 outlawz in black and absolutely love them! Had 16" wild1 chubbys on my old fatboy and the outlawz blow them out of the water for feel.

 

My apes were designed for the fat bob. They are todds cycles fatbob apes, haha. I put them on my wide glide using fatboy lo risers.

I used to be against apes on fat bob's just because of the stance of the bike didn't look to be a good fit for apes however there is a fat bob in town that had 18"-20" installed and I think I like it.

As far as bars, you don't need to spend an arm and a leg to get the look/ride you want. I have a setup from HCCC that cost me $299 (bars and all cables). 1.25" dia 16" tall.

Looks like they raised the prices of those basic kits to $375. I still think they're a good deal/quality for the price.
