Purchasing the software will give you access to the downloads. Then you will need the cables to hook up too. Or you can take it to the dealer and they will download it for you.

If he has a Super Tuner (SEPST) then he has a little orange box with ports on either end. They are used while tuning the bike and then you store it somewhere safe.

Yep. Little plastic devcie that is only used to tune. Does not stay on the bike.

I'm not familiar with the Super part of the name. I've read it in other threads too. Is that what HD used to call it?

The current products are the SESPT, Screamin' Eagle Street Performance Tuner; or SERT, Screamin' Eagle Race Tuner.

As pointed out, they are used when tuning but do not reside "piggyback' on the bike. Also, these products are "married" to the specific bike they were first used with and are not transferrable to other bikes.

So, if someone bought a bike and didn't know whether it has a SESPT or SERT, then either it doesn't have one, or the seller didn't provide it with the bike.

As long as you already have the tuner. You will also need the bike/model specific cables.
