Default just scored unusual sissy bar emblem

I was looking for a sissy bar to go with my browned out dyna but everything I looked at just didn't seem to fit, wanted to find something different and something that would blend into the bike.

I just scored this one on e-bay for $35 bucks. (I know, more then what it went for new) It was originally designed in 1909 and I'm pretty sure it was made around 1984. This emblem was brand new and still in the package. I won't be able to mount it like it was intended, but I'll just take out the screws and use some heavy duty double tape. Anybody have any reccomendations?

What do you think?

I was thinking about fabbing a mount but I think it would look cleaner just getting the right double sided tape. After all, that is what they use on the tank badges and I've never seen them fall off.

Anybody know where I can get some of that tape?

No way on the double sided take for something like this.
Instead cut a nice piece of stainless, bend a right angle with a lip the same size of the thickness of that peice, drill holes to match the two bolts, Pop-Rivet that stainless bracket to your Sissy bar and bolt it in place using loctite.

I'm always a big fan of using something that is somewhat unique. Even though I got a denim black sb, I'm trying to use things that are a little different. That's a cool emblem though. Just make sure u secure it well.

Red, 3m industrial tape. Walmart. It will not come off.
Let it sit over night to cure in 70 or more degrees. Add pressure during curing. I use blue painters tape.
I use a lot of it and it will hold up

X2. This tape is used in the automotive industry to affix body moldings to vehicles.

Great stuff. HD uses it for badges and reflectors. It will hold it forever.
