Default Slotted black gear shift linkage, pictures wanted

Hi,

Is there anybody out there who has the Slotted black gear shift linkage fitted on their bike and has some pictures of the setup?

Part number is: 33745-09

Harley doesn't really have any good pictures up on the website, what I really want to see is the cover for the rear shift lever. Is it black or chrome? Same thing about the acorn nut; black or chrome? Wanting to go darker on the bike black would be my preference.

Any advantage on these custom shift linkages compared to stock? They seem to be adjustable, is that just to get them to fit more models? My other choice is to just order OEM spare parts in black.

I'm pretty sure that if you purchase the linkage, you only get the linkage itself. And you will reuse all of your orignal hardware to connect the linkage. So if you want black hardware, you will have to buy it or have yours painted / coated.

As for the adjustment, it's the same as the one you have now.

As for advantages, look / appearances?

I've got the diamond black shifter rod, the cover is chrome, and so is the acorn nut and bolts. You do get new hardware with the rod. As for adjustment, use the oem rod for length.

Just the info I needed, and it was as I suspected that the hardware and the rear cover is chrome.

Thanks mate!
