Default Risers for the FB

How high can I go on risers without having to replace the lines. I know they have some slack, just not sure what the cutoff is. I don't want to go ape hanger height, just bring it up a bit more to chest level. I'm 6'3" so my arms are a little down and I would like things more comftorable....

You can 6" without needing longer cables.

I put these on mine http://www.lachoppers.com/catalog/di...037/index.html

but looking back would have gone with these for added stability between the risers and I would assume less twist of the bars when parking and getting back on http://www.lachoppers.com/catalog/di...192/index.html

I have 6" LA choppers with 1" pullback. on installation I have a set of 2" riser spacers so my total was 8" The only thing that was real tight, but still operational mind you, was the front brake line. Rideable, but a little tight. So up to 7" no problem at all.

Thanks for all the replies, did the risers have any effect on cornering and basic mobility?

And thanks for the links also....

I put 6" pullback HD risers on my FB without any cable issue. If anything handling improved as it put me in a much more comfortable position. No more lower back pain!
