Default 103 Street Bob in '14?

Anyone know if this is going to happen for '14 without having to have Harley "custom factory build" the bike?

Also, is there THAT big of a noticeable difference between the 96 and 103 as I have never ridden either. I may be making too big a deal out of this in my noggin. I will be coming from a tuned '12 XL1200C.

the 103 upgrade is too cheap not to do. cost alot more to change the 96 to a 103 after the fact.

Default 103

i feel a stock 103 made 6th gear more usable vs a stock 96 having rode both of them. but no matter what you get when you have the extra money your gona do cams, head, big boar, etc...thats how it works i dont know why, but we always want more power

im gona take a wild guess and assume harley still has a stock pile of 96ci motors, so i bet they are still in the fxdb for 2014, but its only a $400 upgrade (if i remember correctly)
also be careful i guarantee some salesman will try to push you into a leftover 96ci fxdb

All out power/speed is not what I am looking for as that is why I hit the track pipe. I'm not even convinced I really need a BT.

I have ridden the 2013 1200C, the 2013 FXDC and the 2013 Fatboy. I felt the 1200C had more power off the line and for passing without having to downshift compared to the 96 and 103. I wasn't able to go past 65mph on the highway on either of them so I can't say beyond that. I also didn't think there was a huge difference between the 96 and the 103 except it seemed the 103 ran hotter. That damn Fatboy gets hot.

For me, the Dyna is more comfortable out of the box compared to the Sporty. The Dyna also handles better than the Fatboy. For me the FXDC is a great choice if you want a bigger bike than your Sporty but don't want a bike quite as bloated as the Fatboy.

I did a HD1 bike and went with the 103. For the $300 you might as well get it. You're already spending $13k+ anyways.

I wish the HD1 was available for the FXDC as I prefer that model because of the full rear fender.

There is a big chance of that being available next year.
