Just got my wide tripper solo, had to bend the front tab slightly to allow the seat to move forward enough to get the rear seat bolt in. The seat still doesn't really cover the bolt at the rear of the tank at the base of the tank panel, the head of the bolt is still visible. Is this normal? Kinda had the same issue with the vintage seat I had for a bit.
Thanks

the weird need to bend the tab and such is just... bad manufacturing. I'm surprised how careless they are. The Mustangs fit flawlessly on my japanese bikes.
I have the same issue with my '13 fxdb. Put the tripper solo on it and I can still see the bottom tank bolt... was wondering if that's normal as well..
I bought a new Mustang seat for my 2011 Road King and it didn't come close to fitting right. I sent it back for a full refund. That's my only experience with the product but for me, first impressions are everything. No Mustangs in my future; unless it's a Boss 302
