If I'm not mistaken, the SE II mufflers appear to be a little thicker inside for sound deadening whereas the original SE's had none. Both have the same baffle design. Correct me if I'm wrong.
The screamin eagle 2 mufflers are an older/louder set. The regular screamin eagle mufflers are a newer/quieter set that Harley had to come out with 5-6 years ago because of the epa.
The II mufflers are not EPA compliant, there is no EPA label on them and for some, depending on where you live, that may be a problem. The II mufflers also have removable baffles. I had a set on for a while and took them off because they were a little too loud for my 60 mile commute but they sure did sound nice.
I had a set of them. They are lot louder, and they are the older style mufflers.
I did not like them. sound was one of the best but when tuned it hurt the lower and mid range power.
