Default luggage rack

Ok, so I have the one piece detachable sissy bar (sku 52300046) and figured somewhere, there has to be someone, who is making a custom luggage rack to attach to it. If so, they are successfully hidden from me. Anyone know of anyplace selling such an animal? Or a place that has fabricated them? Thanks in advance!

I have the rigid mount version of the same sissy bar.
I have done search after search to find something but it was nil.
It is my wife's bike so I can not fab something up, she won't let me. LOL
What I did come up with is looking for a rack that has straight mounts, not the box type. and weld ears on the sissy bar.
54049-10 might work with threaded holes on the inside bar.
That would weaken the bar though.
I am not sure what the rod size is on your sissy bar.
The rigid is not big enough to drill and thread.
This is only a guess.
I had to realign the sissy bar on our wide glide. It was so close to the seat I could not get if off without loosening the bolts and letting the sissy bar move backwards to get the seat off.
I moved it back 1.5 inches and then had to move the sissy bar itself toward the passenger.
worked good.

An inelegant, but functional (and CHEAP!!) solution...

The very narrow width of the HD sissybar rack causes it to "punch up" into and distort the bottom of
many bags designed to slip over the sissybar and rest on rack. The more you tighten the hold-downs,
the more it punches up into them.

I set this on top of the HD rack secured with a couple wire-ties that disappear under the Kuryakan
Mini Gran Tourer bag that normally lives on the rack. Problem solved for about $30.......

If you are just wanting something to mount a tail bag. You can get rubber and put under the bag, I use good contact cement/glue. Then secure the bag to the sissy bar The same way you would a back rest.
This eliminates scratching the fender.

There a few that uses the seat bolt and fastens to the tag mount. Connects to 3 points.
They are small usually.
I have one somewhere, took it off a bike I made a luggage rack to add a hard trunk for a guy.

Why can`t a bag be made with a hard frame on the bottom? These Companies know their bags are going to be ratcheted down on a rack or seat.

I have the one piece sissy bar, but no luggage rack. The rack is what I am looking for. Maybe some kind of fender guard? Then just let the bag slip over the sissy bar, and rest on the fender? Anyone try that?

as long as you have something soft between the bag and the fender it shouldnt get mangled along the way.

If you have a solo seat (which I assume you do), there are curved luggage racks that follow the form of the rear fender and attach where the two-up seat would attach.

If you want a luggage rack that would attach to the rear of the one piece sissy bar I don`t recall any racks like that because there is no where to attach it to the one piece bar

here is a link to many different types of racks. Maybe you can see something you like or will work for you.
We use a tail bag that connects tot he sissy bar and I added a soft rubber bottom and used contact cement.
