Default How to go from solo to 2 up w/ sissy bar quickly?

I've searched but came up short.
How does one go from solo/no sissy bar to 2 up w/ sissy bar on a '96 low rider? Is it going to be a custom thing?

There are quick detach sissy bars, and seats are easy to switch, but you need passenger pegs which you should have.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/shop/...ackrests-racks pick 96 lowrider from the bike list

you'll need the sideplates, sissybar, a pad and mounting kit ( which i didnt see for some reason

or get something like the corbin dualtour where the sissy bar integrates with the seat.

I have an '03 wide glide and purchased a "plug-n-play removable backrest bracket made by Kuryakyn. This part fits below the seat and bolts down into both the single seat and 2 up seat mounting holes in the fender. I like it particularly because you don't have any hardware mounts sticking out from your fender side rails, the whole thing is hidden under the seat. The only piece that sticks up is behind the passenger pillion and that is what your sissybar upright and passenger pad are attached to. I leave the sissy bar & pad attached to the backrest bracket even when it is off the bike. To mount/remove it all you need to do is remove the seat. I have a quick detach "screw" that holds down the seat in the rear and I use an allen bolt to hold down the front of the bracket in the solo seat mounting hole. All told it takes less than 5 minutes to get it off and on. Here's the link to the part on J & P http://www.jpcycles.com/product/820-077
Good luck!

I've got the Corbin Dual Tour... 100% more comfortable than stock, my wife loves it and I can take her backrest out and just have the seat on... Takes less than a minute to install or remove the back rest!

And an added bonus, If I'm doing a long solo trip... I can throw the back rest behind the driver seat and get some extra support or strap a bag to it!

Do yourself a favor and do some shopping for it used! I got mine used (200 miles) on Craigslist for $500! And that is for a heated version!
