Default Saddlemen Explorer(G-Tech) seat

I know I have a thread going on with the seats.....but I'm getting anxious waiting on the new Saddlemen to come in. and I'd like to know what anyone thinks of this seat or the Explorer line in general. Dennis Kirk really talked it up..

I've had my Exployer for about a year and still love it. They indicated that it would take about a 1000 miles to break in however after a 300 mile ride the first day I found it to have formed in perfectly.
My only complaints are the rear mount was useless forcing me to fabricate up my own which took all of 30 minutes and the fact that it could have a better tighter fit around the Fat Bob tank. Dispite that it is very comfortable.

I have the explorer also and really like it. It seemed a little hard at first, but after several miles it got broke in. I can run through a tank of gas with no problems on the ol behind

Mine came with the wrong rear mount for my bike, called saddlemen and they sent the correct one right out, mounted right up then....

Thanks for the replies.
Looking at your sigs, the Explorer seems like a deep bucket that's low on the frame.......I'm really hoping this seat works out for me.
