Default Rear Fender Hole Plugs

Ok, got a 11 SB there are two holes rear fender chrome 3/8 in found that one at Lowes. The other hole located close to tail light have measured 1/2 in no 7/16 in no what is the size of that hole dam't it. Could it be 5/16?

can you size it with a drill bit?

The rear hole has a notch in it for the seat bolt.
You can add a stainless pan head screw with a stainless washer and no need to do anything else.

I put one of these on it and use a stainless steel panhead screw

You could cover the hole with a rubber fender plug p/n 10228:

Got one of those now with a seat screw attached just wanted everthing to match. Maybe drill out a bit so the one of the other sizes will fit.
