Default Going back to mid controls...need help

2001 t-sport. I got all my parts powder coated and I'm installing the mids. I feel like I'm missing a part-another connector or something. Below is a pic of what I have. Am I missing something or is it that simple?

If you have all the mid controls parts (brake, mount, bolts, shorter brake rod) that's it.
The linkage connects for the mid control shifter.

That shift rod should do and you have it positioned right.

Just loosen the bolt under the cylinder and remove the clip that holds the shift lever in the upright position.

Attach the shift rod's eye to the shift lever using the bolt and nut that was used to fasten the clip to the shift lever.
Attach the bolted end of the shift rod to the lever from the transmission.

You can adjust the position of the shift lever by turning in or out the threaded ends at the shift rod.
