fender and tank removal help
Haven't started yet so may be easy but gonna have bike painted in couple weeks and needed some input or advice on removing tank and fenders. I'm pretty sure tank won't be hard and front fender is a breeze so I hear but heard rear fender is a pain. Any tricks, advice, or things to watch for before beginning? Thanks

very simple, pull off seat find the wire cluster that runs threw the hole in the fender, unhook the cluster...now remove the 4 bolts on your struts two on each of your struts, hold up your fender so it does not fall on top the tire and get scratched. i just took of my fender last night took about 10 mins max. i have never used a jack to remove the fender, you can get a open end wrench up inside the struts. if you have a jack use it, but you dont need to go buy one.....although you should get one if you have a bike.
im not sure what dyna you have but for your turn signals if they come off the strut, just un hook them and pull them threw the holes in the fender
you should be able to remove your front fender, rear fender, and gas tank in less than a hour the first time you do it. be sure burn up most your gas before you attempt to remove the tank. a full tank is very heavy
