Default The many faces of Bob

Dynas have to be the most versatile HDs. Here is my 2009 Fat Bob and some of the setups I can do in a couple of minutes time:

Stripped Down:

Ready for Touring:

My usual setup:

I'm just about done with mods for a while. Here is the list so far:
HD Detachable windshield with lock
HD Saddlebags mounted with Cyclevisions BareBacks
HD Detachable Backrest and Luggage Rack
Converted to Mid Controls and added Knight Design 1" lowered pegs
Highway Pegs
Mustang Seat
True Track
SuperBrace Fork Brace
Bagger Rear Shocks
Tri Bar Rear Light
HD Combo Tack Speedometer
S&S Air Cleaner
SuperTrapp SuperMegg
XiEDs
Steal Your Face Pan-Galactic Derby Cover
I also added a 1/2" riser to the bottom of my Jiffy Stand to make up for the taller rear shocks.

I'm real happy with the handling of this bike now. I'm a big guy and ride pretty aggressively and the True Track really helped minimized rear wheel steer. Stage 1 also has me happy right now, it added enough pep to wake up the bike nicely.

I'll probably take off a few more chrome parts this Winter and Powder Coat them Gloss Black.

With QD sissy bar and windshield I can do the same, It's great to have a bike that's got an attitude for whatever I'm in the mood for. I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up with two seats also, one for touring one for sport.

The coolest thing about your bike is that you have mids. Wish I would have ordered my 09 with mids.

It was worth the hassle to convert my bike to mids. It was a little tight with stock pegs, but the Knight Design lowered pegs are perfect. I also have the 2" lowered pegs, but they drag when I ride aggressive.

I'm not sure how the lowered pegs would do with a bike that has stock or lowered shocks, but witht he 13" bagger shocks, the 1" drop is fine.

How much air pressure you run in the rear shocks solo/two-up? How did it change the ride?

Thanks!
