Hey guys,

I am not quite sure if I should post here as well. I already posted something in the EVO section, but thought there are a few more ppl over here who might be able to help.

My apologies if I totally break the rules by "douple posting".....

Here my issue:

I bought an after marker tachometer for my 98 FXDWG. The installation instructions are as follows:

Red wire to ignition "on"
Blue Wire to Lamp on
Black wire groud
Green wire to negative side of coil or CDI

Please find the two pics attached.

I can see the black and red wire which leads into my speedometer. Also attached on the speedo is a white/green wire, but that cant be the coil wire, can it? (Would be way too simple). I also have no clue where the blue lamp wire should go.

A proper wiring diagram of my bike would help a lot, but I cant find anything online nor in my claymer handbook....

Hope one of you master electricians out there will be able to help.
