Default Anyone running a handle bar power outlet?

Just wondering if anyone was running a power point of some type on their bars, and what they were running. I tried one of those Eklipse usb/12v units and it decided to work for all of never. I just wanted to see if anyone has anything they might have fabricated or installed out of the box.

Default Power Port

I use this Kuryakyn port although it wasn't as expensive when I purchased it. I paid 60.00 if I remember correctly. It works great and have had NO problems with it.

I dont like stuff on my handlebars if I can keep from doing it. I fabricated a power point using a plug that would fit the same type plug as the wire for my battery tender. I carry it in my tool bag and plug it when needed. When I dont need it I simply uplug it and put it back into the tool bag. I think $12. Autozone. It has a spring loaded flip top to keep the port clean.

I mount the Kuryakyn 12v outlet on top of the riser clamp, it looks great. That way I can run a very short cell phone charger cable for my iphone, clean look.

I too made a unit that plugs into my battery tender unit. I like it and it never gave me any issues. Best part i like when i don't need or want it i simply unplug the thing and stash it away out a sight out a mind ya know...

I picked up a $12 battery tender cigarette plug adapter that hooked right up to the tender plug for my road trip to keep my smart phone charged...I added a 7.5 amp in-line fuse under the seat. The plug comes out in front of the tank and is zip tied in the wiring harness. I went through some heavy rains without a hitch. I would post ya a photo but then I would have to pick up the camera and go out into my 110+ degree garage to take the photo...maybe later when it cools down.

Harley makes one that mounts to the saddlebag and plugs into your battery tender plug. About $40 if I remember right. I run the wire over my shock and under the battery and plug it in. Used it on the trip to Sturgis to keep my phone charged.

No pics but I got a small 25 dollar bag from River Road and using some short bolts and washers, bolted it to my right side battery box cover. I just stuff the female cig charger in there and connect it to the batter tender wire. I bought a duel USB port cig plug thingy and now I can charge two things at once. For charging a cell or iPhone I just leave them in the bag. I ran a USB chord up under the tank to the bars for a GPS. Worked wonders for 5 weeks straight and cost less than 40 bucks :-)
