Default Street Bob handlebar question...

Will I need riser adapters to put Z-bars on a 2011 FXDB with the integrated risers? I was told the bars might hit the upper fork ends. I already bought the Road 6 Holey Rollers (narrow). I'm currently deployed so I want to know if I have to buy something else before I get home and want to install these.

Looking at the site, those are 9.5" wide at the base of the bars. Depending on how you position them, meaning, if you "pull" the bars back toward you. Then you might, might have a problem with the bars hitting the tank without risers..

Stay safe, thanks for serving..

Do you mean the bottom of the bars run straight across and may hit the top of your fork caps? I had this same problem on mine. You can lower the fork tubes down in the clamps some. Mine are lowered about 1/8" so the bars will clear the caps. Hope that helps.

Thie is the easiest and cheapest solution for you.

Yes, that answers my question. Because I can't look at my bike right now, I wasn't sure if there was enough room to bring the forks down. Thank you!

100% correct, you probably have a 1/4 inch of play to lower the fork tubes. had to do the same with a set of RSD apes
