Just wondering - besides a bad speaker, what could cause the main control speaker to burn out after a few minutes of use? I turned the speakers on and they played fine for a few minutes then went up in smoke. The engine was off. As stated in the instructions, I connected the black wire to the negative terminal and the red to the positive.

"STEP 18 The black wire from the filter is a ground wire and needs to be secured to the negative terminal
on the battery.
STEP 19 The red wire from the filter (with in-line fuse) is a power wire and needs to be secured to the
positive terminal on the battery."

Any ideas? Is it just a bad speaker?
