Just completed 1500 miles in 4 days with 650 in the last day.
I have had back surgery and am nothing but happy with the touring capabilitys of this bike. The ride is smooth (air hawk seat helped a lot!) And I had no idea the bags could ever hold that much gear!! (My buddy was gonna buy them and bombed out-glad he did!)
I also have an Electraglide. I think I will continue to use the FXDXT over the road. It's seating position is much better on my back and my FXDXT is just as smooth as the bagger!
