Progressive Shock - Blown Seal :(
So was on the bike today, stopped at a light...
Bunch of smoke, I'm like who the *** is smoking???
It was me..
Progressive 412 heavy duty springs.
Right side leaked out all the oil on the exhaust.
Question: Do I gotta just buy new shocks?
Or can these be rebuilt?
If I gotta get new shocks, What is Good and Affordable?
These were way too hard and been living with them for years.
Looking for a more comfy ride. Or if its cheap I'll just get rebuilt.

I am not sure I would bother rebuilding Pro 412, so are pretty cheap to begin with. So if they were too stiff, time to try something new.
More expensive doesnt also mean better. I had Ricors and the left one blew out after about 3 years, and those go for over $600. I live out of country so cant send them back so running Pro 970s, they are a lot smoother but I extended another 1/2' to 12.6". Also, I put in some standard length front springs and ricor emulators, it ride pretty good but not as smooth as I was hoping for based on all the feedback. Would consider the Pro monotube once they come out.
