Hi everyone, I just bought a cobra II headlight for my dads Fat bob. I am having some issues with the wiring. The new headlight only has two wires, a yellow and a red. There are 4 wires coming from the bike. Do I need to connect all of them or do I tape two of them off.

What year Fat Bob? International or USA model? For USA models there should only be 3 a Black - Ground, Yellow - High Beam, White - Low Beam I would need to double check my wiring manual as to the high and low beam.... The plug has 4 pin locations as seen in the pic.......... I will check later tonight when I get home from work as to the high and low colors....

 

You can always use the Cobra II housing, and just run the HD light and wiring in it. I did that, as I'll be throwing in the HID light - and it'll be simple plug & play.

 

I also installed HID in my Cobra II housing (it was a bitch disassembling the Cobra II for the install..... everything else was simple).
